It's gonna be worth it.
As I grow, birthday wasn't that particular to me anymore. Yes, it is a special day where I'll be the queen of the day , be the centre figure and people would try their best to fulfil whatever I want, be it food or present. Now I've reached an age in which VIP in my life ( family and friends) would play a big role instead. I want them to be healthy and happy every year. As simple as that. Also, as I grew, I tend to reflect thoughtfully on my achievement, or rather things that I've done over the past year.
On my birthday I still received many greetings. Calls, WhatsApp, Facebook. Thank you all. You guys have showered me so much love. You know who you are.
1) Birthday Cake from this super sweet Bestie of mine.
Special thanks to my bestie HoonYee for buying me a cake a day before my BD. I stepped into a bakery just to buy my breakfast for the next day but she ordered it few days ago just to pick it up for me. How thoughtful of her. We were under so much pressure that I don't even dare to think about it but she told me: 'Share it with your family. This cake is for you.' The cake was then my very first Birthday cake :)

Birthday is not birthday without cake cutting session. Although I'm not really in mood but it's still a tradition to sing Birthday song and cut the cake. After all, this would also mark/indicate that I'm a year older, and a year wiser ( hopefully) :)

So my family decided to have another proper dinner together to celebrate my birthday. No more cake but a quality dinner time. I decided to bring them for Korean Food. Not really a big fan but it's something different caz my parents had that.
My brother who is always there for me.
3) Surprise
Still cannot believe that we're done. It's been so tough that our life has become a robotic one. We've decided to get ourselves some good food and then head to Karaoke session. I suggested this caz I've been craving for it. Hence we've got an impromptu one near our house. Cut it short, I was shocked by this little surprise from them. Halfway through the session , birthday song just 'jumped' in. Thank you once again guys, especially to this girl, bought me a cake and then another surprise. Why so sweet?!

4) Course-mates
So on my birthday itself, I got a call from one of my Coursemate and she promised to bring me out for a mini celebration after our exams. She even apologised for not buying me a present. I prefer a quality time spent more than all the conventional surprises with gifts. I do not want my love ones spent so much on me. Thank you so much people! It's the thought and effort that counts. Thank you for the dinner treat and I enjoyed the second round coffee session as well :)

5) The crazy High School Gang-s
Well it's been a while since I last met them. This bestie has planned this day way before as we know it's very hard for us to gather. Some are working and we stay kinda far away. Babe Cass bought me a cake from Dreamz Bakery! ( She knows I like it + my bad for not rejecting such offer ) so tada!!
It was so damn good!! Bought them only drinks in return in Wondermilk. Please allow me to share next time. It was a fun-filled day. So much laughter. Love you guys to bits and pieces. You know it babe.

Not perfect this time but still thanks for coming. I insisted this customise cupcake so I actually order it myself and decided to share with them lol. Went to Souled out for dinner and Brewman for our second round. Thanks Yien for the ride & Loong back home. Many updates, many stories, laughters and love.
I really appreciate and miss time spent like this. Good food and great company. Nothing more. Simple happiness. Pure joy
Thank you for bringing me and the treat. It's been a week + since my birthday but this girl insisted to have dinner with me as a belated one. It's more like a update as we were both so busy with our stuff. Good night spent and thanks.
We don't have a picture of that day but I guess this brownie looks pretty good. It's still a little bit too sweet for me but my friend loves it :)
