Remembering LKY

星期日
我家电视  一直开着 而我也一直以沉重的心情 坐在沙发上 听着

I am touched by the speech by SG Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Me and my mum were saying that we could listen to his speech over and over again. Indeed we enjoyed listening.
Past few weeks has been a very tough week, especially for Singaporean. They can't thank him more for what he has done for them.
I tear whenever I click into the video of him, posted and flooded over my Facebook. Though I am not a Singaporean yet I am truly affected by the passing of Mr Lee. It was raining heavily. Lee Hsian Loong, on his speech said that the heaven open and cried for him. He also said that If you follow LKY, you'll survive. 跟着李光耀是不会死的...He kept his promised and he work towards it.
A great leader, a great father. Singaporean has been queuing for hours, stood in the rain, just to pay their last respect for Mr Lee and bid farewell for him. I've been only SG only once and I am impressed by how safe, how clean this country is.
I've been playing videos, reading post bout LKY, seeing him spending his entire life for the country, transforming an empty land to what SG is now.
Tears just roll. I didn't know a lot bout him, just through documentaries and articles for the past few weeks that I've seen, that he is a great man, a great father, a great husband. He influenced so many people and change the world. Even when he was sick, he still thought about the country.
RIP Mr Lee.
You'll be remembered. Never forgotten. You'll always be my role model.
